Counselling Therapy for You
A space to talk, feel heard and make sense of what you're going through.
There are times in life when things can feel overwhelming, difficult or simply not quite right.
You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, loss or the impact of past experiences. Perhaps you feel stuck, unsure what you need, or find yourself repeating patterns that you don't fully understand.
You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to counselling.
I offer integrative therapeutic counselling for adults and young people in Rainham, Kent, as well as online counselling throughout the UK.
My aim is to provide a calm, confidential and supportive space where you can talk openly, explore what is happening for you and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
How Counselling Can Help.
Counselling gives you the time and space to slow down, be heard and explore what may be happening beneath the surface.
Together, we can explore your experiences, thoughts, feelings and patterns, and consider what might help you move forward.
You may begin to:
-
Understand your thoughts, feelings and reactions more clearly
-
Feel less overwhelmed by difficult emotions
-
Develop healthier ways of coping
-
Build confidence and self-understanding
-
Explore relationships and boundaries
-
Process difficult or painful experiences
-
Make sense of changes or challenges in your life
-
Feel more able to make choices that are right for you
There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about. We can start wherever you are and work at a pace that feels manageable for you.

You don't need to know whether what you're experiencing is "serious enough" for counselling.
If something is affecting your wellbeing or making life feel harder, it is okay to ask for support.
Counselling for Adults.
Adults are my primary focus, and I work with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties and life circumstances.
You may be going through a particularly difficult period, feeling overwhelmed, or simply have a sense that something in your life isn't quite working for you.
Counselling can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
Counselling for Young People.
Alongside my work with adults, I also have experience working therapeutically with young people.
I recognise that young people may express and experience difficulties differently from adults, and I aim to provide a safe, supportive space where they can feel heard and understood.

Your first session is an opportunity to begin getting to know one another and talk about what has brought you to counselling.
We can explore what you would like support with, what you hope might feel different and how you would like us to work together.
There is no pressure to have all the answers. We will work at a pace that feels appropriate for you, and you will have space to ask questions and decide whether counselling feels right for you.
Sessions are 50 minutes and are usually held weekly. 80-minute sessions are also available — please get in touch if you would like more information.
Fees.
Adult counselling: £65 for a 50-minute session, whether in person or online.
I also offer a limited number of concessionary sessions at £50 for students, trainees and people on a low income.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss fees or find out whether counselling might be right for you.
Finding the Right Counsellor.

I aim to offer a space where you can be yourself without judgement, pressure or expectation. My approach is warm, grounded and professional, and I will listen carefully to your experiences and what matters to you.
